Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. Ali MacGraw is famous for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She was raised by an artistic family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in art. When she was assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to acting and modeling. MacGraw was noticed in her two first films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international notoriety, and the Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. In just three years, MacGraw was ranked as the most popular female box-office starter in the world. Her handprints and signatures were recorded at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and many more. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
